i dreamed i was tall

acrylic, 144  x  72
“i dreamed i was tall” is a series of paintings created for LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. The series illustrates the importance of nurturing children’s growth, which offers a nod to positive progress and future possibilities. Both provide an uplifting message for the patients, families, and employees. Members of the LeBonheur team and former patients were used as models. McTyre worked in a team with artist Paula Harding Beale to complete this project.
