Remains is a work of art that pushes the nostalgia button. It conjures up happy memories of summers past at the same time sparking a twinge of sadness at moments that cannot be revisited. The webbing in found aluminum chairs has been replaced with strips of paper with hand drawn patterns done in pencil.
In glorification of these memories and the summer season, you can rent Remains. You can put the piece on the front porch, back patio, nestled in the garden or poolside. Your choice.
This is a limited time offer because anyone that has ever owned or sat in a webbed lawn chair knows that they have a lifespan.
Renting begins Fourth of July weekend and ends Labor Day weekend 2016.
Here is how it works. You can rent the work of art for 24-hour time slots.
You must live within a 30-mile radius. I will deliver and pick up the artwork.
Cost is $25 per day. I will also consider trades. Such as art for art - you pay with a drawing, collage, etc. Maybe you make a World’s Fair worthy pie – unless it is coconut or meringue (I hate coconut and meringue). You have a green thumb and therefore more bounty from the garden than you know what to do with. You get the picture.
